VIEWAPP updates: new features and improvements

The VIEWAPP team continues to develop the service, making it more convenient and transparent. In this review - key improvements that are already available to users of the web interface and mobile apps.

Indication of parts of video shooting

When recording a video step, in some cases the clip may automatically split into several parts - for example, if the user used the zoom function or minimised the app during shooting. Previously, this was not always obvious when watching a video. The video player now shows how many parts a video consists of. This helps experts immediately understand the structure of the footage and not miss anything.

Filtering based on expert feedback

Partners using the expert feedback module can now filter inspections based on specific grounds that have been selected by experts. The new filter is called ‘Rationale for Examination Decision’ and is available in the ‘All Available Examinations’ section. This simplifies analyses, helps to find key cases faster and build quality work.

Easy navigation through the status dictionary

For administrators who maintain several companies, we have added a useful detail: now a list of companies in which it applies is displayed opposite each status dictionary in the ‘Administration Statuses’ block, as well as when navigating to the content of the status dictionary. This greatly simplifies navigation and configuration, especially when working with several companies in parallel.

Updating legal information and localisation

We have updated the Privacy Notice and Terms of Use to reflect the latest requirements for data protection and transparency in user interaction. You can find the latest documents on our official website in the Legal Information section. In addition, English and Spanish translations have been improved in the mobile builds to make it easier for users to navigate the interface and tooltips, regardless of region.

Mobile App Updates

We have released new mobile app builds - for both Android and iOS. Updates include:

  • updated texts of the user agreement and privacy policy
  • improved in-app prompts
  • bug fixes and stability improvements

Additionally, push notifications when inspections are cancelled have been implemented in iOS. This allows users to receive information promptly and not be distracted by unavailable tasks.

For Android, two new handy tools have been added:

  1. Filtering the list of inspections by status - now the user can select the required inspections by parameters and save the filter settings. This is especially convenient when working with a large number of inspections.
  2. Hint when inspection is unavailable by role - if a user does not have the necessary rights to perform an inspection, the system will warn about it in advance via a special banner.

These changes are a part of our constant movement forward. We thank all partners and users for their feedback - it helps us to make VIEWAPP even better.
